Leadership Coach
Dr. Melanie Susi has over 25 years in education as a special education teacher, classroom teacher, reading specialist, academic advisor, assistant principal, and principal at both the elementary and middle levels. Her passion is the development of teacher leaders, aspiring school administrators, and current administrators who are looking to grow.
Throughout Dr. Susi’s career, she has led professional development at the building, district, and university levels, and has also presented at statewide conferences on literacy and PBIS. She developed and currently leads a yearlong professional development initiative in her district for teachers who are interested in becoming principals, as well as an induction program for new administrators. Dr. Susi also serves on the editorial board for a magazine published for school administrators.
Dr. Susi holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Millersville University, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Neumann University.
