Leadership Coach

With over a decade of experience in strategic planning, leadership development, product management, and data analysis, Dr. Patterson has focused her career efforts in driving systemic, transformational change, and fostering collaborative environments.

Dr. Patterson served as a middle school principal, assistant principal, and emotional support teacher.  She has also served as a director of support services and supervisor of student services.   Dr. Patterson has a demonstrated history of working in student-centered curriculum development, data analysis, district-wide supports, and social emotional learning. She is skilled in educational technology, instructional design, professional development, and leadership.

In addition to district  leadership roles, Dr. Patterson has served as an adjunct professor at several universities, sharing their expertise in educational leadership. Her consulting work includes presentations on service learning and student-centered scheduling at various educational institutions.

Passionate about equity in education, professional development, and mentoring, Dr. Patterson has been recognized with multiple awards for teaching excellence and community impact.

Beyond, she is equally enthusiastic about her current role at BloomBoard, a talent development provider specializing in turnkey solutions for career advancement for teachers- building proactive staffing plans, providing on-the-job degrees, pathways to certification, and diversifying our workforce while celebrating and honoring our educators. She has utilized her social justice perspective to create pathways for teaching for strategically undervalued folks who often serve our districts in support staff roles.

Dr. Patterson earned a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education from La Salle University; a M.Ed. in Education from La Salle University; a M.A. in psychology with a specialization in marriage and the family from La Salle University, a principal certificate from The University of Pennsylvania, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Design from Temple University.
