Professional Learning Facilitator
Jessica Saloky started her career as a high school math teacher for the Spring-Ford Area School District in 2011. She co-taught for much of her time in the classroom and is very passionate about the potential impact successful co-teaching partnerships can have on learner success. Jessica is also passionate about the purposeful integration of technology and making students’ educational experience one that allows for a smooth transition into college or work life. These passions inspired her to get her first master’s degree in Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century through Wilkes University. Jessica was selected to participate in a program at Spring-Ford that was supported by the TLS Team. Through this experience, she grew as a professional and enjoyed the dedicated time to learn new practices and technology tools and reflect on the glows and grows in her classroom. She strongly believes that reflective practices are critical to staying educationally relevant and meeting the needs of all learners.
Currently, Jessica is an Instructional Coach for the district and services teachers grades 7 through 12 in their implementation of best practices in pedagogy and technology integration. She supports all district initiatives and enjoys getting to work with a variety of grade levels and content areas. This experience has helped her see teaching through a variety of lenses and she prides herself on advocating for both teacher and student.
