Lead Facilitator
Beth Ann Olesen taught English and Business Education courses at Springfield Township High School for six years. In 2012, Beth Ann was selected to participate in the “Train the Trainers” program under the tutelage of Dr. Grande. Through this program, she trained and coached district faculty K-12 in differentiated instruction for inclusive classrooms. In her coaching role, Beth Ann supported faculty through observations, reflective practice group conferences, and met with faculty one-on-one to offer instructional help, with the implementation of both differentiation and technology. Beth Ann is also a Level 1 and Level 2 Google Certified Educator.
Prior to teaching, Beth Ann received a BBA from James Madison University and worked as an event planner and then as a project manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Her passion is promoting student learning by encouraging teachers to think about ways to support student-driven instruction.
