1:1 Curriculum with Technology Initiative – Modernizing Learning

Modernizing learning is a system of differentiated instruction strategies and tech tools that are used in an assessment driven way to respond to student needs and engage all learners.

This program includes all of the foundational theoretical and practical tenets of the Differentiated Instruction program while allowing teachers to consider how technology might support meeting students at their correct level of difficulty in the classroom. Emphasis is placed on using technology only when appropriate to meet curricular and instructional goals. Teachers look at how to use technology for formative assessment, summative assessment, instruction, remediation, scaffolding, enrichment, individual accountability, and management.
